As a result of the COVID lockdown the November Village Hall committee meeting could not take place in person. Reports were circulated by email and the minutes were collated from these emails and the responses.

Following the Government’s decission to place the whole country in a new National Lockdown the Hall Management Committee have no choice other than to close the hall to all bookings until further notice.
We were able to take advantage of the first national COVID-19 Lockdown to have the floor of the Main Hall refurbished, and the internal paintwork renewed.
Since then we have also had the Hearing Loop replaced.
All we need now is to be able to re-open to our loyal regular user groups!
Following the decision by the government to impose Tier 2 restrictions on Somerset most of our regular bookings are regrettably unable to resume. At present only the Toddler Group and Daisy Foundation classes can be held but must follow the social distancing guidelines and COVID-19 hygiene protocols.
The September Village Hall committee meeting was held in the Main Hall, to permit social distancing, on 10th September.
