John Hegley is an English performance poet, comedian, musician and songwriter.

This show is about his family friends, working life and everyday goings on which resonates with audiences, who, (when it is safe to do so) are invited join in with the singing.  The poems are poignant and funny and although the show is designed for adults the odd 9 year old has happily joined the journey.

North Cadbury Village Hall Committee invites you to The Big Jubilee Picnic Lunch 12 Noon - 4pm on Sunday 5th June in the North Cadbury Playing Field or in the Hall if the weather is wet.

Bring a picnic & picnic blanket/chairs and join your friends and neighbours to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

Drinks and ice-creams will be available from the bar or BYO.  The grand unveiling of The Queens Canopy plaque at 2pm.

A Bristol based singer / songwriter – Not to be missed!

First steps on Bristol’s open-mic scene pricked up ears. Show-stealing performances at Glastonbury, WOMAD and the Paralympics spread the word. Top-dollar recording sessions with Brian May, Bill Wyman, Paloma Faith and Joss Stone were offset by guitar-slinging gigs in squats, dive-bars and the occupied West Bank, where raw songs were born amongst the rubble.
